In 2019, SUPA71 conducted an evaluation on Making Educational Institutions Safe to Young LGBT Students (LGBT Project) in Phayao province of Thailand for Plan International Thailand under Sida-funding project. The project started in 2015 and is currently implemented in Phayao province. It aims to reduce school-related violence on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expressions, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) through working with student peer leaders, school staff, parents, and a network of government bodies and civil society organizations (CSOs).
